Brief Lovers

Everything looks better from high above.

While eating peaches, I thought of a line that I would want etched on my skin forever

Person, creation or merely a transitional place

I didn’t want to leave the bridge, so I walked backwards instead

nimitur in vetitum, semper cupimusque negata

Before the past becomes the present, becoming something we stop yearning

On the way to the Louvre, a grandmother was teaching her grandson life lessons while she wrapped him around her. He was an eager boy. I can’t remember what it was that she told him, but it reminded me of how my grand uncle and I used to have our morning walks and breakfast together and how he told me I was missing out on ‘the good stuff’ because I couldn’t take spicy food.

P/S: I bought my first black and white film.
