Sunday Morning in a Bathroom

Smoke unfurls,

trailing your grievances
With ashes along its brim,
Conversing with a store-bought
cup:

I remember you
Leaves rustling late, your ghosts
They sail across your
questions,

Waiting along

your crystal lips—
When you held my hand
You held his secrets too.
